Dell Xps Review - Is It As Good As They Say?

By: Roberto Sedycias

The Dell XPS M1210 is a fine new laptop. It has impressive features and a style that make it cutting edge among the rest. With only a few negative reviews, most of the hype was good news, making the Dell XPS M1210 worth taking a look at.

The Dell XPS M1210 has a 12.1" screen. It has brilliant graphics thanks to the NVIDIA technology. It offers high definition with a DVD slot drive, perfect for watching movies. It offers webcam availability when you want to connect with friends. The web cam is a 1.3 mega pixel and rotates around so that you can record everything around you. It also offers Wi-Fi for being able to use wireless internet, a great feature for when you travel and want to use it at cafes or other Wi-Fi connected places.

This lap top has a light weight versatile body. That has a backlit keyboard, perfect for any late night work or dark spaces. The amazing speakers allow you to play movies at their greatest capacity and hear what is going on, on the internet with top notch quality.

This laptop features Intel Core Duo Processor and optional 7400 graphics card. The Duo processor allows you to open many programs and have them still running fast and smooth. This feature comes in handy when for example you want to run a virus check, check email and load a game all at the same time.

The Dell XPS M1330 has a core 2 Duo processor as well. It also has 1.5 GHz and 1GB of ram. With 120 GB of HDD it provides ultimate space. It also runs on windows vista home premium.

This lap top comes with a fancy leather trim (optional) and backlit keyboard for excellent viewing performance. It also allows for a seamless display and extra wide end to end glass for optimal viewing.

The keyboard is spaced out with wide buttons for easy access and comfortable use. The lap top itself is a bit thick, which some people are frowning at and when the battery is put in, it sticks out a bit from the edge. The thickness though has others feeling confident that it is a sturdy and reliable piece of electronics.

The speakers are in a great position so that you are not blocking any sound with your hands while using the lap top. The sound quality is excellent and you can plug in two headsets at once. The ear pieces that come with the lap top are good quality and stick in the ears well.

Dell offers a one year warranty and can be reached any time through a 24/7 phone line. You can also contact them through email and other customer service lines. Dell has been known for providing great customer service to anyone to require it with their Dell product.

Negative comments include; a short battery life, where some people have to buy a larger battery, and a glossy case that easily leaves hand prints behind. The positive was that most people said that they liked the bang for their buck. They felt that for the price they got a quality high end lap top that delivered exceptional quality and features. Most people were pleased overall, with the software it came with, the way the computer ran quickly and the easy design making it comfortable to use with no extra hassles to worry about.
